The cut is the Conical Full, Spitfire's best-selling shape. It's the wide version of the Conical: it keeps the trimmed sides, which reduce weight, but widens the contact surface to 21.5 mm. This translates into more stability on landings and more time before the wheel gets sharp.
The urethane is Formula Four, poured and hand-cut in San Francisco. This is what gives Spitfire its reputation: it doesn't flat spot easily, slides without sticking, and maintains speed on rough terrain.
53 mm with 99A is the most versatile combination available. Small enough for street and quick response, hard enough not to rob you of speed on the ground.
