Natas Kaupas was one of skateboarding's first street pros at a time when almost everything was done on ramps. He rode for Santa Cruz, and the panther that appeared on his board in the late 80s became one of the most recognisable graphics ever made.
This is the shattered version of that design, the same animal broken into pieces.
The board is VX, Santa Cruz's reinforced construction, which replaces two of the seven layers of wood with composite material. It's lighter and thinner than normal and lasts more sessions before losing its pop.
At 9.0 inches wide, this board is for those who want support underfoot.
