*This reissue has the Original 80s standard mounting hole So make sure to get trucks with a 6-hole baseplate. We suggest Stage 11 Independent 169s, 215s, or Stage 4 166s.

Construction

7-ply North American Maple, individually pressed using epoxy - making a strong, responsive deck with long-lasting pop and consistent shell and kick.

Concave

In the late 70s and early 80s, Santa Cruz carried the burden of flat decks with little or no concave into the famously technological shells of the late 80s. The early 80s concave is based on this evolution, with defined concave, mellow side-to-side and slight tail kick that was found on Santa Cruz's Street Skate, RS/C, and professional models like the Malba Tombstone.
