Jake Wooten's pro model for Santa Cruz, featuring the Calamity graphic printed over silver foil. The design boasts scale and drama, depicting a dragon crushing the world, and the metallic foil underneath makes the colour shift with the light.
The VX construction is the technical highlight. Instead of the usual seven layers of maple, it features five layers plus two X-tech layers, resulting in a thinner, lighter deck with stronger pop, which lasts more sessions before losing its curve.
With 8.5 inches wide by 32.2 inches long, it's a wide-based deck, with a 7-inch nose and 6.6-inch tail, and a 14.375-inch wheelbase. The ATV concave is medium deep, with symmetrical kick in the front and back, and works equally well for street skating, in the skatepark, and for transition.
