The Reaper is one of those graphics that anyone who skates recognizes from a distance, even without knowing who it belongs to.
It came out in the 80s as Corey O'Brien's pro model on Santa Cruz and stuck in the memory of an entire generation.
This re-issue comes in a colour that has never been re-issued before. Neon and metallic inks sit on a silver kaleidoscopic background that progressively darkens to black, and the effect changes depending on the light that hits it.
The shape is Corey's original, the SC 146, with 9.84 inches wide by 30.05 long and a 15-inch wheelbase. A longer tail than the nose and Old School concave, with a gentle curve from side to side. Constructed with 7 layers of North American maple pressed one by one with epoxy resin.
It makes sense for pool, bowl and cruiser, or to hang on the wall.
