Powell Peralta Steve Caballero Ban This Gold Foil Skateboard Deck 9.265"

In 1988, Powell Peralta placed an advertisement in Transworld and Thrasher seeking an artist, with a position in the Santa Barbara art department as the prize. Sean Cliver was chosen, mainly because his drawing style was very similar to VCJ, the man who designed the graphics that defined the brand. When he was given Caballero's dragon to update, Cliver imitated the master perfectly. The name Ban This came later, from the 1989 video where this dragon appeared prominently.

This reissue is faithful to the original: shape 192, pro graphic, top logo, and the spoon nose concave that Powell used in the 80s. It measures 9.265 inches wide by 32 long, with a 14.75 wheelbase, 6.5 nose and tail, and K15 concave.

The gold foil may have faint lines or small variations, inherent to the process.
