Powell Peralta Mike McGill Skull & Snake Green Gold Foil Skateboard Deck 10"

Powell Peralta is one of the most iconic brands in American skateboarding history, founded by George Powell and Stacy Peralta in California. Mike McGill was one of the legendary members of the Bones Brigade and the inventor of the 540 McTwist, one of the most influential vert skateboarding tricks.

The Skull & Snake graphic was created in 1984 by artist Vernon Courtlandt Johnson (V.C.J.), precisely in the summer when McGill was perfecting the McTwist in a field in Sweden. The original design featured demon horns, but McGill requested they be replaced with a halo of rays and the addition of the snake, both a tribute to Florida where he grew up. This reissue maintains the old school 160 shape of 10" x 30.125", SP3 concave and 16.625" wheelbase, with a Gold Foil finish on green veneer that makes each deck unique.
