Powell Peralta Flight Mike Vallely Lightning Bolt Gold Foil Skateboard Deck - 8.75"

The lightning bolt is from 1997 and by Jim Knight. It marks the phase when Mike Vallely, already a street name in the 80s, started living on the road, showing his skateboarding skills to anyone who showed up: parking lots, shops, shopping malls. The symbol stuck to that idea of continuing to skate.

Here it comes in gold foil on black, on the 308 shape. 8.75" wide by 32.33" long, with a 14.5" wheelbase. It's a big deck, for those who want a platform under their feet and stability at speed. The concave is the K26, with a closer and larger radius nose and tail, which provides more precise flicks.

Flight construction, made in California: five layers of American maple infused with epoxy, with fiberglass on both sides.
