Powell Peralta Flight Mike McGill Skull & Snake Green White Skateboard Deck 9.0"

In the summer of 1984, at a skate camp in Sweden, Mike McGill was perfecting the 540 that would become known as the McTwist. At the same time, in California, Vernon Courtlandt Johnson was designing his new graphic. The skull line was selling, so that's what they went with. What McGill asked for was the snake and lightning, two things common in Florida, where he lived.

Shape 218B, one of the biggest from the brand: 9.01" wide by 32.45" long, with a 15" wheelbase. It's a bowl and pool deck, with plenty of platform and stability at speed. K21 concave, wide and not overdone.

Flight construction: five plies of American maple infused with epoxy, with fiberglass on both sides, pressed in California.
