Powell Peralta Flight Andy Anderson Heron 2 Egg Shape Skateboard Deck 8.7"

Andy Anderson doesn't skateboard like others, nor does he ride the same type of deck. The Egg is just that: an oval outline, without the sharp tips of a popsicle, with the nose and tail ending in a rounded shape and measuring the same, 6.8" each.

In practice, you gain platform. The 8.7" width and 14.5" wheelbase provide a large and stable deck, which sits well in transition and holds up well when landing sideways in a slide. And since both ends are the same, it rides just as well switch. You lose some aggressiveness in the flick, but gain foot area and comfort in balance tricks.

Flight construction: five layers of epoxy-infused American maple, with fiberglass on both sides, made in California. K20 Concave.
