Classic shape version of Roman Gonzalez's pro model for Polar Skate Co.
The black and white photograph comes from the Gonzalez family archive and shows an entire wall of hanging puppets, with drooping heads and arms, completely untouched. Polar has a habit of using real-life images of skaters instead of commissioning illustrations, and this is one of the most successful examples.
Here you get 8.125 inches wide by 32 inches long, a 7-inch nose, a 6.75-inch tail, and a 14.25-inch wheelbase. The right size for those who street skate every day and want quick flips without losing stability on landings.
Pressed at BBS, in Mexico, with 7 plies of maple with medium concave. The top stain changes from unit to unit.
