Polar David Stenström Tape & Panther D1 Skateboard Deck 9.25"

David Stenström's first pro model for Polar, and the graphic is straight from home. The brand went through the family's photo archive and found an image of his father, Tobba Stenström, doing a frontside air in Stockholm in 1979. Upon enlarging the photo, they noticed that the panther on the deck was a sticker and that the stripes on the tail were electrical tape applied by hand. They recreated everything exactly as it was.

The D1 shape measures 9.25 inches at its widest point by 30.5 inches long, with a 6.9-inch nose, a 6.7-inch tail, and a 14-inch wheelbase. Short and wide, in the style of the decks David's father cut in the 70s, made for curbs, bowls, and transition.
