New Deal Skateboards was founded in 1990 and quickly became one of the most influential street skateboarding brands of the 90s golden era, with a team that included names like Andy Howell, Danny Sargent, and Ed Templeton.
The brand closed down in the early 2000s but returned in 2020 with a collection of re-issues to celebrate its 30th anniversary.
The Man Yellow is Ed Templeton's original pro model, launched in 1991 with a graphic designed by himself, as was common with his models. This re-issue is faithful to the original: old-school shape measuring 9.625" x 32.5" with a 14" wheelbase, mellow concave, and a longer nose characteristic of the transition in skateboarding to the early 90s.
Graphic applied by heat transfer in yellow.
A deck to collect and to ride.
