Madrid Skateboards was founded in 1976 in California by Jerry Madrid, who started shaping surfboards in his parents' garage before moving on to skateboarding. Decades later, the brand is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a series of reissues that pay homage to the shapes and graphics that defined an era.
The Mike Smith OG Duck is one of Madrid's most coveted decks, originally released in 1985 with artwork by the legendary John Lucero, which includes his artist logo.
This reissue is pressed on the original molds at the Huntington Beach factory and retains the OG "Pig" shape with wheel wells, single kick, and virtually no concave, for a genuinely old-school look and feel. The 16.75" wheelbase offers stability in bowls and speed.
7-ply Canadian maple construction with a Gold Dip finish, in a limited edition of 200 units.
Each unit is numbered and comes with a Letter of Authenticity (LOA).
