Powell Peralta is one of the most iconic brands in American skateboarding history, founded by George Powell and Stacy Peralta in California.
The Supreme graphic has a curious history: it is based on the 1979 advertisement "Energy For An Empty Tank World" and came to life in 1991 when art director Craig Stecyk designed a gas station-themed trade show booth, complete with vintage pumps, oil cans, and 200 hubcaps. The graphic was created to decorate these pumps and eventually became a classic in the brand's advertising, t-shirts, and stickers.
This griptape features the Clear version, with transparent silicon carbide grit that offers superior control while allowing the deck's graphic or color to remain visible. The pressure-sensitive adhesive makes installation easy, and the 10.5" x 33" sheet is designed for wider old-school, shaped, and pool decks.
For those who want top grip without hiding the deck's look.
