Powell Peralta Ripper Peeker Griptape 9"

Powell Peralta is one of the most iconic brands in American skateboarding history, founded by George Powell and Stacy Peralta in California.

The Ripper is probably the most recognizable graphic in all of skateboarding culture, illustrated in 1983 by the legend Vernon Courtlandt Johnson (V.C.J.). Interestingly, it started as a "Bones Sold Here" window sticker for shopkeepers before making its way onto t-shirts and finally decks.

This griptape features the Peeker version, where the Ripper appears to peek partially for a more subtle graphic effect.
