This brings together the best of two worlds: one of Girl's new generation skaters and the art of one of the greatest illustrators in skateboarding history. Tyler Pacheco has one of the Skull of Fame series skulls on the back of his deck, a project where Sean Cliver transforms music icons in his raw and slightly macabre style.
Cliver is not just any artist. He started at Powell Peralta in the 80s and designed graphics that are part of skateboarding's collective memory. Each skull in this series goes from a hand-drawn sketch in his notebook to the final colored art.
The deck is 8.0 inches wide, 31.5 long, and has a 14-inch wheelbase, on the G018 shape with medium concave. Crailtap press, with the usual firm pop.
