G&S Stacy Peralta Warptail 2 Square Tail Skateboard Deck 7.5" x 29"

The original Warptail was made of solid wood and was Stacy Peralta's first pro model for G&S.

The second version, from 1977, switched to laminated maple, which was lighter and much stronger, and became one of the best-selling decks of that decade.

This is the Square Tail, with a straight-cut tail and slightly larger dimensions than the regular Warptail. It measures 29 inches by 7.5 inches wide, with a 15.5 wheelbase, a flat nose, and a foot hook kicktail.

It is made in the USA from 7-ply Canadian maple, with carved wheel wells and the G&S logo branded into the wood.

A period detail: the top sticker does not feature Stacy's signature, just as was the case in the last series of the 70s, after he left to join George Powell.
