G&S Pine Design Reissue Skateboard Deck 9.5"

Doug Saladino, aka Pineapple, joined the G&S team in 1976 at just 13 years old. Three years later, his first pro model, the Pine Design, was released, and it's this deck that the brand has reproduced here.

The shape remains true to the original: 30 inches long by 9.5 inches wide, a 16-inch wheelbase, flat nose, and a kicked tail. No concave whatsoever, as was common in the 70s, with open wheel wells on the sides so that large wheels wouldn't touch the deck.

The construction is 7-ply Canadian maple, made in the United States. The G&S logo is branded into the wood, with no printing on top, and the drilling follows the old six-hole pattern.
