A raptor skull, with a curved beak, occupies the center of the deck over a bed of dry leaves in ochre and brown, with ribs and vertebrae spreading towards the tail. Among the foliage are loose yellow eyeballs, the same unsettling detail that appears on the other decks in this series, here in an autumnal palette instead of red.
Hale came out of Arizona and made a name for himself in concrete pools and vert, terrain that punishes hesitation and weak equipment.
Hence the 9 inches wide by 32 inches long, one of the wider decks in the house, with a 14.25 wheelbase that keeps it lively despite its size.
