Powell Peralta Flight Color Burst Yellow Skateboard Deck 8.75"

The Color Burst is Powell letting the colour do the work: a burst of yellow that opens from the centre of the deck and fades towards the ends.

Whoever gets one of these gets it for the construction. Flight decks are five plies of US hard rock maple infused with epoxy resin, sandwiched between two layers of high-strength fibreglass, pressed in California. It's as thin as a phone, lighter than a seven-ply of the same size, and withstands more than twice as much in the brand's own tail break tests.

And then there's the pop. In a seven-ply, it fades as the wood gives way. Here, it remains practically the same until the end of the deck's life.

It comes with a delamination warranty.
