Penny Skateboards is an Australian skateboard company founded in 2010 by Ben Mackay, who began making wooden skateboards in his parents' garage in Brisbane in 1999. In June 2010, he began selling Penny Skateboards (named after his sister) from door to door surf and skate shops on the southeast coast of Australia, specifically in Brisbane.
